Veterans Day, November 11, 2009

I spent some time the other day at the Dallas Fort Worth International Cemetery located on Mountain Creek Pwky in Dallas. As I walked around surrounded by thousands of memorials, I was filled with mixed emotions. Places like this give you a new found appreciation for military personnel and the honor in which they serve…a new found respect for their courage and selflessness in which they protect our country, our rights and our freedoms. Peace be with you our living and fallen soldiers and veterans.

A Party Before the Celebration – These Guys Are Awesome!

Yesterday we attended the rehearsal dinner for Stacey and Mike. This couple is just a ball of fun and great people to be around. We got to meet some of their closest family and friends which only re-confirmed what an awesome couple they are…we also snapped a few photos in the process. We are very excited for their wedding taking place today at 7:00pm at the Maple Manor Hotel. Congrats guys…see you in a few hours! View More Photos
Mardi Gras Theme, Wedding Bells – Pure Bliss

We were invited to Pappadeaux restaurant in Dallas to capture the fun memories of Kikki’s wedding shower. The food was great, Kikki’s family and friends were awesome and the Mardi Gras theme was a hit (might have to borrow from you ladies one day). We had a great time just capturing everyone’s excitement around Kikki and witnessing the fun from all the games they played. Kikki’s wedding date is October 3rd and we are really looking forward to sharing in more memories with her. View More Photos
Lucky Pro Photography, On The Other End Of The Camera

After over a month of my mother calling daily to ask where our pictures are on our blog I finally took the time to edit our own and post them today. We had so much fun on our wedding day with our close family and friends!
Now I know the burning question is….. WHO SHOT YOUR WEDDING?? We hear it daily and after much deliberation and countless hours of searching for a photographer down in the Destin area we finally decided, we can’t hire someone outside of us! So the only logical solution, train one of our own to fall under the Lucky Pro name. Our junior photographer in training was chosen, and the winner was Thiago Emmerich, close family friend and boyfriend of none other than my little sister Elizabeth. View More Photos
