Oh, How You Brighten My Day…

As far back as I can remember, I have always had a strong fascination with sunflowers. They seem so happy, full of energy and they are always leaning in the direction of brightest star in our solar system. Angela and her mother planted sunflowers earlier this spring in our backyard. I’ve been anxiously awaiting them to fully bloom, and when they did…..WOW. Here are some photos with a couple of our artistic processing techniques applied. Enjoy!

1. Still Standing: This old tree was very inspiring from first sight. What you do not see is the full bloom of all the trees and landscape around this tree. This old tree still stands solid despite no sign of life… in the middle of Spring.
