The Best 1st Year We Could Have Imagined…

April 24th, 2010 we celebrated our 1-year wedding anniversary. With knowing that most couple’s first year is usually really tough, we feel extremely blessed to have had a wonderful year filled with love, trust, fun, laughter, growth and spiritual development and guidance. We are so thankful for all our family and friends that have been there for us to offer words of wisdom and encouragement.

With our busy schedule, we had to celebrate our anniversary the best way we know how… with simplicity. The day began with some much needed R&R as we got to sleep in late for the first time in ages, it seems.

A Babysitting Experience to Remember…

So we’ve met one of the sweetest couples ever at our church Grace Fellowship (www.gfc.cc)… and they have two awesome little boys Camon and Talon. They asked us to babysit for them one evening as they went out – such a big deal since this would be the first time anyone has ever watched the boys away from their own house. We had such an awesome time with the boys and they really liked hanging around our son Crosby. It was a bit of a change of pace having two really young boys in the house, but they brought some really good energy with them and were just a joy to be around. Anxiously awaiting the next time…….

Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birthday To You!!! Angela’s Birthday Monday, February 22nd. We started celebrating this past Friday with a dinner date and a weekend of relaxing. After a great Sunday lunch, Angela revealed the desires of her heart – a new bike…with a granny basket attached. Crazy thing is that we did not have to look very hard for the perfect bike for her. Happy Birthday Angela, enjoy your two-wheeled, leg propelled transportation thingy!!!

1. Still Standing: This old tree was very inspiring from first sight. What you do not see is the full bloom of all the trees and landscape around this tree. This old tree still stands solid despite no sign of life… in the middle of Spring.
