We recently visited the city of Minneapolis where we photographed the wedding of Amy & Ryan Carter (pics to come soon…promise). What an awesome city – reminds me of Austin, Texas. It was very lively with lots of people walking and biking, and the nightlife was the same. Saturday, we had some free time to actually get out of the hotel and see some areas of the city – AND IT WAS AWESOME!!! Check out the photographs captured by Christopher.

Although these photos are way overdue for posting, we thought we would post anyhow. Our missions ministry at our church, Grace Fellowship Church, in Grand Prairie likes to host fun little fundraisers to help with the cost of sending groups to Honduras for various purposes. This fundraiser was all about hot dogs and nachos, a much needed afternoon snack right after service. As far back as I can remember, I have always had a strong fascination with sunflowers. They seem so happy, full of energy and they are always leaning in the direction of brightest star in our solar system. Angela and her mother planted sunflowers earlier this spring in our backyard. I’ve been anxiously awaiting them to fully bloom, and when they did…..WOW. Here are some photos with a couple of our artistic processing techniques applied. Enjoy!

Earlier this month, my in-laws came to visit us for an extended stay. During their trip here two men and a boy decided to take a tour of Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This facility is probably the most awesome I have ever been to. The architecture, the technology… needless to say we were completely wowed from tour start to finish. Crosby also got the chance to play catch on the football field. If you haven’t been, I would highly recommend the tour – it was awesome!
