Seems like every month the Dallas skyline is blessed with another visual. While the country, perhaps the world, still remains cautious about investments and commercial real estate, Dallas construction companies seem to be doing quite well. Unless my eyes deceive me, I’m seeing about 5 new high-rise buildings that were not there before. Go Dallas!!!

Get ready for something fun, exciting, dangerous, unusual.. yet inspiring. Last night our church, Grace Fellowship Church, hosted the world famous John Jacobs and the Next Generation Power Team. Pictured above are our Senior Pastors, Deborah and Joe Oakley. This outreach event was geared toward reaching those who rarely or have never attended a church, by performing some incredible stunts, but also bringing them a powerful message of hope and faith. The team also travels to high schools and middles schools across the country speaking on topics such as bullying, abuse and numerous other issues our children struggle with today. This has been an exciting year for a number of reason. 1.) We saved 15% by switching to from Geico, 2.) We discovered the joy of Pretzel M&M’s, and 3.) We made some awesome changes to our wedding collections and upgraded our product line. The type of paper used for these books is light than our luxury line, which allows for us to add significantly more a pages. These book’s pages can either be printed with a matte or lustre finish, depending on your taste. The book-bound photo journal has been our most popular wedding product  over the years because it allows you to tell almost a complete story through photographs.

Mr. Junior Photographer is at it again, by it I mean his career as a photographer. We recently did a photo shoot in our studio and had a ton of fun. All photos of Christopher taken by Mr. Junior and he did one heck of a job directing the shoot. I think it’s safe for me to speak for Angela and say we are so proud of him, even if he doesn’t follow in our footsteps (but there will be consequences). Our recent vacation trip was (1) much needed, (2) much needed and (3) fabulous! We  decided to go back to Destin, Florida and to the same resort where we were married in 2009. It was even more of a wonderful experience the second time around. Our room was literally 20 seconds from the beach, pool and hot tub! Now being photographers, we had no choice but to take some awesome photos for your viewing pleasure, so don’t judge us for doing a little fun work on our vacation! Another perfect day to be outside photographing. The sun was shining, but the clouds were in abundance creating some very soft natural lighting. It’s days like this when a photographer wants to call into his day job and say, “I can’t come in today, otherwise I’d get sick.” Enjoy and have a great rest of the week!

Today was such a perfect day to be out photographing a round Dallas, however, I just happened to be at the office working. During a morning break I was able to capture this photograph of the Dallas skyline, looking south from the Oak Lawn area. The sky was covered with clouds all day, humidity was high with a slight coolness to the wind. Here’s to hoping tomorrow looks the same.

February 13, 2011 we had an event at our church, Grace Fellowship Church, which we were asked to photograph. This Prophetic Gathering was definitely a Spirit led service. Pastors Olen Griffing and Kerry Kirkwood were such a true blessing to all in attendance. We had a new youth pastor ordained along with an elder and several deacons. We had such an amazing time… we were renewed and refreshed! I think we can finally say, 2011 HERE WE COME!
