Lucky Pro Photography is a family-owned, family-operated photography business specializing in weddings and portraits. We are a husband and wife team, Christopher and Angela, and we make it our personal desire to tell your story artistically and un-apologetically. Our philosophy is that everyone is an individual and should just be themselves…we will capture that truth and uniqueness from our artistic perspectives. We just love taking awesome photos of awesome clients.

A Little More About Christopher:

I can remember my very first camera…the old-school Polaroid…fanning the photo to speed up the development process. Technology has come a long way since then and I’m always researching and keeping up to date with the “new” in photography. I am also well versed in web and graphic design concepts and applications which come in quite handy during our post processing.

It is truly a blessing for me to be able to share the same passion in photography with my wife Angela. She makes me whole, she keeps me grounded and every wedding we photograph reminds me of the love I feel for her – I love weddings!!!!

A Little More About Angela:

Growing up being surrounded by art, I guess it was fate that I would end up a multifaceted artist myself – a photographer and painter.  I love photography, I love finding the perfect angle when capturing the emotion of the moments in our lives that pass too quickly and often go unnoticed.

It is a great honor that our clients invite us into their lives for the special and tender moments. The most rewarding compliment is knowing our art touches your life and hangs on your walls for years to come.

So where does the name Lucky Pro come from?

We get this question quite often and regret to inform you there is no exciting reasoning behind it. Lucky was a nickname given to Chris during college. He seemed to grasp pretty much anything he could put his mind too. Some people just assumed he could not be that smart – therefore the nickname Lucky was given as a joke, but it stuck with him over the years. In 2001, Chris began producing music as a hobby under the name Lucky Productions. After taking up the trade of web and graphic design, he shortened the name to Lucky Pro. Add Photography on the end and that’s it!

We are not “lucky” at what we do…we are professionals and highly-skilled in our art. We are constantly researching the latest equipment and techniques. We educate and train on a weekly basis as well as assist in the training of up and coming photographers we fellowship among. We are committed to providing our clients the best work we can possibly provide.

How do you shoot weddings in Dallas, Texas and Appleton, Wisconsin:

Christopher is Texas born and raised while Angela is a native Wisconsinite. We are based in Dallas, Texas and shoot weddings throughout the metroplex and surrounding cities – we’ll even travel to Houston, Austin and San Antonio if needed. One of our main goals as a family to ensure we travel back to Wisconsin as often as we possibly can because ALL of Angela’s family still resides there. Most of our wedding are booked 6 months to a year in advance which makes it pretty easy to schedule our visits accordingly. Engagement sessions are usually planned in Wisconsin around our normal visits every few months.
