Correcting Washed Out Color & Over Exposed Photographs…

This weeks edition of Before & After features photographs from our wonderful time with Stacey & Mike Rodts last year. This couple, well they are just awesome and we’re so glad we met and worked with them. Now let’s rock out with some post processing!!!

Correcting Washed Out Color – First of all, I know this photograph is not completely color deprived, but when you are actually standing in this particular location, the colors are a lot more vibrant than the photograph reveals. When this image was taken, we had to use a fill flash to lighten up the shadow being cast from the building. When doing this, the colors became a little dull. Well, we worked our magic a little in post processing to make this photo pop – a little contrast, super-sized vibrance, and yes we want fries with that!

Correcting Over-Exposed Photographs - It is normal that during the course of a wedding, some photos will become over-exposed due to the camera’s reaction to the changes in lighting. Here’s a photograph taken outdoors around 5pm in the blazing sun. The sun was extremely bright during this particular shot, but we had to salvage it because it was a good moment captured.
