Salvaging Poorly Taken Photographs…
Welcome to another edition of Before & After post processing with Lucky Pro Photography. Have you ever taken a photograph only to look at it later and it is completely under-exposed. This can be caused by a number of factors, but the simple point is that you don’t want to get rid of the shot so what can we do? Well, let’s see……

Photo Correction In Post Processing – The story behind the photo…this is a self portrait of me playing my keyboard in an attempt to calm down from a battle. I had recently been involved in a fight with my oven which would not release my cheesecake from captivity – check out the war mark on my hand. Anyway, the portrait came out very under-exposed as I did not use a flash. Though very dark, the photo could still be salvaged in post processing. I increased the exposure, and used some fill light to remove the dark shadows. Evening out the saturation and tones then moves the photos into the “saved” folder instead of “rejected”.
