1. Still Standing: This old tree was very inspiring from first sight. What you do not see is the full bloom of all the trees and landscape around this tree. This old tree still stands solid despite no sign of life… in the middle of Spring.

2. Iron & Wood: This bridge has seen it’s fair share of feet, bicycle wheels, strollers… this bridge has overheard many conversations, sweet whispers and dark secrets… if bridges could talk, this bridge would have so many stories to tell.

3-4. Traveling East: Two different perspectives of a seldom used railway taken in the late afternoon.

5. Imitation Spain: The Mandalay Canals in Las Colinas offer a very unique atmosphere that almost seems to take you to another world. This setting makes for some awesome portraits.

6. Waiting To Wade: I’m not sure if the wooden manikin can swim… I don’t think he’s sure either…

7. Six-Thirty AM: Even with a fake model, you can feel the peace associated with a good night’s rest.

8. Summertime: And the living is easy. Carefree, relaxed and working on a tan.

9. Sky’s The Limit: Another great photograph of the manikin series, the model appears to be soaring through the atmosphere.

10. Woodall Rogers: Photograph taken above the freeway in the late evening, car lights and slow shutter speed make for a great capture of motion.

11. This Old Building: Office Equipment building located at the corner of Austin & Wood in downtown Dallas… love the fire escape.

12. Neon, Neon: You can almost hear the buzzing of the neon lights in this sign. It glows quite bright and hangs near the corner of Elm & Lamar in downtown Dallas.

13. Solo Flag: This flag reminds me of old war movies. It stands tall battling daily against the South Texas winds.

14. 1937: A photograph of the interior of an old commuter train car. This was luxury travel just a little more than a few decades ago.

15. The Beach: Cool breeze, hot sand, and the chatter of seagulls in the distance… the unfiltered, but gentle, aroma of the salty ocean.

16. The Dreamer – Baseball: I graduated from Tee Ball and got my first real bat and glove I grabbed a bag of sunflower seeds and big league bubble gum chew… I won’t be the last one picked any more.

17. Duck, Duck Boy: This kid had no idea the feeding frenzy he would cause just from one box of broken crackers.

18. Ring of Love: It’s amazing how the right angle of light can produce some of the most extraordinary shadows.

19. Addiction: An entire wall of art made from the containers of various trips to Starbucks.

20. Read It And Weep: Photograph taken in the West End District of downtown Dallas – a host of newspaper/magazine stands lining the Market Street area.

21. The Upgrade: I was quite puzzled when the convenience store took out he old pay phone and put in a new pay phone… they still do not give change for a dollar.

22. Shining Moment: This particular sunflower stood out from the crowd of a few thousand… the only one striving to be just like the sun.

23. The Light: The path I can now see, the night swallowed up the day but you my friend help to guide me along my way.

24. The Dreamer – Basketball:Oh those long days and nights practicing my dribbling, shooting… playing against the imaginary defender. I won’t be the last one picked any more.

25. The Finisher: Coach calls our last time-out, looks down the the end of the bench and asked, “Are you ready kid?” I smile and say, “Coach I’ve waited my whole life for a moment like this!!!”

26. Trellis Sunset: One of my favorite locations to relax in the evenings and enjoy the calmness of the sun fading in the distance.

.

27. Determination: As if the sun has decided to reach its destination despite the huge obstacle in direct path.

28. The Happy Sunflower: Thousands, maybe even millions of sunflowers lined the construction of highway 121, this one made me smile.

29. Rest Stop: I love this nice, quiet area along the canals in Valley Ranch – a great location for engagement portraits and kid portraits.
