Ohhhh Baby, Bring Back That 1970′s Style!!!
Week 3 of Before & After post processing with Lucky Pro Photography. This session moves into a more artistic realm of post processing. For most all our sessions we use two very distinct processing techniques which can be seen throughout most all our work. However, there are occasions where we get “outside the box” to bring a totally different appeal to photograph. Let’s get started.
Okay, here’s the original photo right out of the camera with no tweaks. Let’s make this good photo an awesome photo?

Lucky Pro Natural – We showed the results of this process during last weeks session. This process is the foundation for creating a nice vintage effect. The colors are desaturated and the contrast levels are elevated.

Vintage (Light) – This post-processing technique has responsibility to stay true to the natural fading and discoloration of an old photo. Adding to the previous technique, we fade out the remaining green tones and add a reddish-brown tint to the entire photo. The “Light” version puts more emphasis into the dark areas of the photo in order to brighten the entire photo.

Vintage (Dark) – As you can see in comparison with the photo above, the “Dark” version focuses on the light areas of the photograph, but notice the overall photo does not get much darker. The tint of the photos becomes a shade darker which desaturates the photo even further. Which one look better…well that just depends on your personal preference.
