So Who’s Making The Shortcakes???
There’s always something to do in Wisconsin and it usually involves becoming one with nature. On our most recent visit we spent Monday morning at a local strawberry field with the family. Fresh strawberries dipped in sugar – it doesn’t get much better than that! We had such a great time…and then Angela’s mom made shortcakes. We are very excited for raspberry season to get here.

After a while to heat began to set in and the kids learned a little about real work.

Veda was warned that Crosby lifts weights – I guess she didn’t listen.
I love her little strawberry picking dress – so adorable.
My mother-in-law and I share a very special relationship of sarcasm and joking.
These strawberries we just as delicious as they look!
You know what Angela is thinking…”NAP…NAP…Here I Come!”
