Mardi Gras Theme, Wedding Bells – Pure Bliss

We were invited to Pappadeaux restaurant in Dallas to capture the fun memories of Kikki’s wedding shower. The food was great, Kikki’s family and friends were awesome and the Mardi Gras theme was a hit (might have to borrow from you ladies one day). We had a great time just capturing everyone’s excitement around Kikki and witnessing the fun from all the games they played. Kikki’s wedding date is October 3rd and we are really looking forward to sharing in more memories with her. View Entire Post
He wants to be a photographer…and a model…

Mr. Junior Photographer learned yesterday that he can’t strike an awesome pose and capture it on his camera at the same time…so he let me capture the moments for him. Also yesterday was an exciting day for us at Lucky Pro Photography. We got some cool new studio lights (as used in this session), Angela is working on some decorations/finishing touches for our studio and Junior took an interest in lighting and how it works in combination with camera settings.
He really surprised me when trying to explain some of the concepts back to me in 7-year-old terms, “If you turn that thing toward this thing, the light will be much gooder, right?” …He was almost spot on. I am anxiously awaiting the day where we can trust him with a really good camera. He is going to do awesome work! View Entire Post
Med Student, Graduate Student…and still time to fall in love!

Meet Rosie and Henry! These two have such a storybook love – they are so sweet, kind, considerate and most of all loving toward one another. Henry says things like “I love you more than I love me” and Rosie says things like “I can’t wait to marry my best friend.”
Now, we’ve been called sappy and mushy, but Rosie and Henry are definitely giving us a run for the title. We couldn’t help but to really like these two – such an awesome couple. Our engagement session with them was nothing short of amazing – they absolutely rocked it!
Rosie and Henry, you guys are truly amazing and meant for each other. We are so, so, so excited for your wedding in November.

What A Little Cutie Patootie…

This sweet little girl is the daughter of one of our neighbors. Simone has entered into a beauty pageant and needed some head shots to submit – what a perfect opportunity for a mother and daughter to play dress up and let us in on the fun. Simone is usually a quiet little girl, very very shy as well. But when the cameras came out she shined like the little star we all know she will become. Simone we wish you the best of luck in the pageant and don’t forget the little people once you become famous! View Entire Post
