Lucky Pro Photography, On The Other End Of The Camera

After over a month of my mother calling daily to ask where our pictures are on our blog I finally took the time to edit our own and post them today. We had so much fun on our wedding day with our close family and friends!

Now I know the burning question is….. WHO SHOT YOUR WEDDING?? We hear it daily and after much deliberation and countless hours of searching for a photographer down in the Destin area we finally decided, we can’t hire someone outside of us! So the only logical solution, train one of our own to fall under the Lucky Pro name. Our junior photographer in training was chosen, and the winner was Thiago Emmerich, close family friend and boyfriend of none other than my little sister Elizabeth.

We extended to him one of our cameras (which with Chris is as difficult in most cases as taking candy from a baby) and taught him the settings that we would use under the circumstances. He ran around our wedding and caught all the moments of the ceremony (Even Chris’s favorite shot to get which is the look on the grooms face as the bride walks down the isle which can be seen below) and then he followed us around for almost an hour after the ceremony listening to all of our directions.

If you can imagine it went something like…. Thiago move to the right, bend down a little bit, let me see the settings again, ok get this angle ready set shooot! He was such a champ and a great student and we owe all of our wonderful memories caught on camera to him!! Thanks Thiago, we appreciate it so much! Let us know when you are ready to relocate to Dallas so we can officially add you to the Lucky Pro team!

Whoever said “being pretty isn’t easy” wasn’t kidding! My mom forcing the veil into my head!

My beautiful sisters.

Chris couldn’t resist taking pictures of the bridesmaids!

And I couldn’t resist taking pictures of the groomsmen! What can we say, it’s in our blood.

Chris had to get a picture of me and Crosby…

And I had to get him back with Crosby… Ok, we really should get back to being bride and groom!

Chris says wait… One more for me to take!

Actually two… Ok, we will give the camera back to Thiago now!

Perhaps my biggest fan in the world… Rudy! He wants me to come over and play baseball with him in my wedding dress.. who could say no to that smile!

And last but certainly not least… Thiago Emmerich himself! (He doesn’t always carry flowers, I traded him the camera for the flowers) Thanks again Thiago!!

Your pictures are wonderful. What a lasting rememberance on paper as well as in your hearts. Thiago did an excellent job. I am not going to mention to your Mom that one of your comments was that Thiago should relocate to Dallas. Before she knows it that would mean Elizabeth would be moving. I would have to listen to her talking about another daughter and how far away she is and how much she misses you. Just kidding–she knows you have to follow your heart. The pictures are beautiful and you two make a special couple.
